I have covered previously how not to use YouTube if you are Gordon Brown in particular, so why not cover a politician who has made considerable positive use out of YouTube.
Daniel Hannan is a Conservative MEP for the South East of England and has been since 1999, the thing that makes his YouTube outing so singificant is that it directly attacked the PM when he was present and as a result was picked up by news agencies and went viral within 24 hours,
One of the most critical points aimed at the PM;
“When you repeat, in that wooden and perfunctory way, that our situation is better than others, that we are well placed to weather the storm, I have to tell you, you sound like a Brezhnev-era apparatchik giving the party line.
“You know and we know, and you know that we know, that it’s nonsense.”
The MEP writes a regular blog for the Telegraph and is surprised the interest has been so high. I am not it clearly shows how the media landscape has changed so rapidly and continues to do so.
