Hello there! If you are new here why not subscribe to my RSS feed for updates on this and other topics.
One of my favourite places to visit in London is the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, the V&A as its known. I have been here on numerous occasions and always seem to find new areas, and bits of interest.
The V&A is described on their website (http://www.vam.ac.uk) as;
V&A South Kensington is the world’s greatest museum of art and design, with collections unrivalled in their scope and diversity. Discover 3000 years’ worth of amazing artefacts from many of the world’s richest cultures including ceramics, furniture, fashion, glass, jewellery, metalwork, photographs, sculpture, textiles and paintings.
If this doesn’t inspire you to visit then the different collections should, they have everything from Sculptures, Prints, Art, Fashion, Jewellery et al. I cannot in this post describe what a fabulous place this is. Also a number of the galleries change often so it almost has a web appeal with changing content! With visiting exhibitions as well it always seems to have something new, I have seen the Kylie exhibition for example.

Last time I was there we found what they call ‘the garden’ I would describe as one of the most peaceful locations in South Kensington with a splash pool for those weary feet and lovely café outside. On the subject of food and drink the Café is in the original refreshment rooms which were intended to be a showpiece of modern design and I can say 100% they truly are.
So there you go, my top tip when visiting London, go and pay the V&A a visit you will not be disappointed.
