I have always been keen to explore new sites and new ways of doing things, the internet is great at ‘new’; who’d have thought that we’d be talking in 140 characters or less and getting business through this or having a laugh at people’s videos from all over the world.

There is a site called Zopa a true social site that allows you to lend and borrow money without the need for a bank.

Basically social lending is where people lend and borrow money with each other, with no need for a bank. It really is that simple and it means if you have some some spare cash, it could just be as little as £100 or maybe could do with borrowing a bit, either way it could be well worth checking out. With over 300,000 members and over £50 million of lending through the site surpassed in August 09 you can be assured of the confidence in the site.
