Who is going to win XFactor 2009 – how to use a poll on Twitter?

Yes I know this isn’t a ‘key’ question that is going to make or break your weekend but it still poses an interesting question that Twitter is ideal to use to ask for your business, let me explain.
Hello there! If you are new here why not subscribe to my RSS feed for updates on this and other topics.
Twitter has loads on interesting application that link into it, use parts of it, most to make your life easier/get some information out of your followers. So why not start a poll for all your followers? I use TwtPoll that enables me to construct a poll with multiple questions and a number of variances of answers, these are then published in an easy to see interface. There is a bit of advertising, but isnt there alwasy now – you can get rid of it for a small fee. Best of all there is no login required, it is all done by the user with a click.

See my example Poll below as to who is going to win X Factor 2009, Stacey, Joe, Olly or Danyl – to vote you just make your choice and hey presto the poll is updated – it really is that simple. – Final Results were
Stacey Solomon – [ 15% (8 votes) ] – runner up
Joe McElderry – [ 17% (9 votes) ] – eventual winner
Olly Murs – [ 50% (27 votes) ]
Danyl Johnson – [ 19% (10 votes) ]

So if you want to make use of your Twitter followers why not ask the question? get some feedback build a realtionship – you could always add something controversial, I bet if I added ‘i dont care‘ into my X Factor poll it would have got quite a few votes. Anyway you get the picture, another great app to use on Twitter.

The key question is not how to use Twitter polls – it’s quite clearly who will have a long term career after X-Factor finishes. And that’ll be Stacey as she’s the only one who can sing!

      James,

Thanks for your comment and vote, it will certianly be interesting, for X Factor Stacey i thin she needs to move maybe even dance?

And as for TwtPoll i just love the ease of use, no logins etc…. simple, which is possibly why it is so popular.
