Hello there! If you are new here why not subscribe to my RSS feed for updates on this and other topics.
I realise this is a bit off topic for my blog, but i think we English like our sheds, i call it the ‘James May effect’ and to get a leak in a new shed is frustrating to say the least.

Firstly i tried a patch of felt, it slowed the leak for sure, but thats about it – so what to do. A visit to B&Q wasn’t very helpful, they advised taking the roof off and then relaying it – do you think they want to sell lots of products?

So after a good scan of their shelves i stumbled across a product i can only describe as fabulous, its called Thompsons Emergency Repair Roof Mastic and is like an extra sticky bluetac. All you do is using a trowel cover the crack in the felt (well) and leave it to harden, which doesnt take long at all. The result is a well sealed crack and no leaks in my shed roof, a top product it gets my recomendation and it cost under tenner.
