		<description>Sue, you&#039;re right, the impact of our behaviour is so wide-ranging, and whilst it&#039;s almost impossible to measure Emotional Intelligence in £££&#039;s,  people certainly know when it is lacking - that&#039;s when they start walking away!</description>

Essentially this is what emotional intelligence is all about - realising the impact of an individual&#039;s behaviour on others, such as sharing their excitement about a sale or understanding the value of an employee&#039;s hidden talents.  

But it&#039;s also vital to remember that key to a business relationship is the ability to stay objective - never let an &quot;emotional attachment&quot; be used as an excuse not to make difficult decisions.</description>
