Welcome back, i've missed you did you know that you can subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
The awesome Vulcan Bomber XH558 at the Dawlish Air show this year was a joy to behold, the aircraft was the star attraction at air shows around the UK during the summer, appearing in front of many millions of people.
I have blogged about this previously;
Dawlish Air show – Vulcan XM558
Dawlish Air show – the show review
The project was started in 1997 with the sole aim of returning Vulcan XM558 to the air and has two aims within this;
Honouring the Past – including those who stood guard during the Cold War years of which the Vulcan is such an enduring symbol.
Inspiring The Future - enthusing the children of today in Aeronautics, Science, Design and Technology.

Quite simple i know but they rely on the support of the public and some businesses to keep XM 558 flying, you only have to visit the guest book on their site to see how much this icon of British design & engineering means to people.
Around 50,000 people donated last year alone to keep the Vulcan project going so she could be seen at Air Shows across the UK, and they need to raise another £400,000 before Christmas and the same again before Easter. This could be in the form of one off donation or maybe a business that can get involved from just £500.
I truly believe this to be a great project to support and home you do to.
Alistair
